The Sago Palm has become a very popular landscape item. Sago Palms have erect, sturdy trunks The leaves are a dark olive green and about three to four feet long when the plants are of a reproductive age.

USDA: 8-10.Frost Tolerance: Hardy to 10°F (-12°C) Sun Exposure: Partial shade to sun, get sunburned easily in the low deserts. Origin: South Japan to Java. Growth Habits: Palm tree looking plant up to 6 feet diameter, growing slowly to 10 feet high. Watering Needs: Regular water. Propagation: Seeds or offsets.
